Privacy at Nunchiyo
Nunchiyo studies websites, not people. This page says plainly what it keeps.
What is stored about you
Your account: the email address and name your sign-in provides, your plan and its billing status, the domains on your watchlists, the alert destinations you enter, and any correction you submit. That is the whole list.
What is deliberately not stored
The browser extension sends the domain of the page it measured and nothing else — no URL, no page path, no IP address, no session identifier, and no account reference. Measurements from many readers are pooled by domain, so an observation cannot be traced back to a person. Alert delivery logs record which rule was used, never the address it was sent to.
Payments
Card details are entered on the payment provider's own page and never reach Nunchiyo. We keep the fact that a plan was paid for, and the identifiers needed to keep the subscription working.
Other services
Nunchiyo fetches public files from the websites it records, and uses hosting and payment providers to run the service. It does not sell your data, and it runs no advertising or cross-site tracking of its own.
Your data
You can ask for a copy of everything held about your account, or ask for the account and its watchlists to be deleted, by writing to us from the contact page. Deletion removes your account, watchlists and alert destinations; the published facts about websites are a public record and remain.
